14th - Opal

Opal is a gemstone that offers a lot of variety in terms of its appearance, ranging from almost transparent to opaque. It can come in many colours, but the most commonly used in jewellery is a creamy white with a play of rainbow colours within the stone. This unique feature makes it perfect as the focal point of a jewellery piece, with accent stones complementing or contrasting with the play of colours within the opal. Additionally, there's a type of opal called fire opal that has a bright, flame-orange colour.
