Why You'll Love This Beautiful Pearl & Fluorite Necklace

Beautifully individual and a little different from the traditional pearl strand, this striking freshwater cultured pearl necklace combines the soft lustre of semi-baroque pearls with a dramatic banded fluorite cabochon pendant set in silver.

The necklace comprises 60 semi-baroque freshwater cultured pearls, ranging from approximately 6.0mm to 7.0mm in diameter. Their shapes vary naturally from off-round to round, giving the strand a lovely organic quality and ensuring it retains the individual character associated with semi-baroque pearls.

Displaying medium lustre, the pearls provide a soft, luminous backdrop to the much bolder central gemstone. They have been individually knotted, a traditional jewellery technique that helps protect the pearls from rubbing against one another while providing additional security to the strand.

The real focal point is the unusual half-moon shaped banded fluorite cabochon, measuring an impressive 40mm × 23mm. Fluorite is admired for its fascinating colour zoning and banding, and the smooth cabochon cut allows these natural-looking layers and tonal variations to become the centre of attention.

The fluorite is bezel set into a silver pendant, creating a contemporary contrast against the classic pearls.

At approximately 61.5cm in length, the necklace sits beautifully below the neckline, allowing the substantial fluorite pendant to become a striking centrepiece.

This necklace has recently been independently examined and valued by a Registered Valuer and Consulting Gemologist for retail replacement purposes at $655, dated 12 August 2026.
