🌊 A Spectacular Statement in Blue Topaz
A truly striking vintage-style handmade pendant, dominated by an extraordinary 47.00ct bright blue topaz. The substantial oval gemstone has been beautifully hand carved with sweeping diagonal grooves, creating a wonderful wave-like effect reminiscent of rippling tropical water.
Rather than a conventional faceted topaz, the carving gives this gemstone wonderful individuality, texture and movement. Its vivid ocean-blue colour contrasts beautifully against the richness of 18ct yellow gold, while its impressive size makes it an unmistakable statement piece.
The topaz is secured within a four-claw setting and finished with a generous tapered articulated gold bail, allowing the pendant to move naturally when worn.
At over 14 grams, this is a substantial piece of fine jewellery with both visual impact and a luxurious feel.
