Beautifully bold and full of natural character, this vintage handmade brooch showcases an impressive 43mm banded agate cabochon set in warm 9ct yellow gold.

The agate is the undeniable feature of this piece, displaying wonderful natural bands of earthy brown, reddish and creamy tones across its polished surface. As a naturally patterned gemstone, the individual banding gives the brooch its own distinctive appearance.

The large rounded cabochon is held within a simple gold bezel, allowing the beauty of the stone to take centre stage. At approximately 44mm in diameter, this is a substantial vintage brooch with wonderful presence.
