Jade, a gemstone that has been cherished around the world for centuries, is best known for its signature green colour. It has been most popular in China and Japan, where it has been used for carving and ornamentation. While it can be found in various colours, green jade is the most iconic. In jewellery, jade is commonly carved into beads for necklaces and earrings, while cabochon-shaped jade rings are especially beautiful. Jade pendants are also available in cabochon and carved styles.
