Whether cultured or natural, pearls are formed through the accumulation of layers, symbolizing the years and love that have developed over time. These layers are known as nacre, and they contribute to the lustrous appearance of pearls. As pearls are also the gemstone associated with the third anniversary, now is an ideal time for an upgrade.
