While not a widely used blue gemstone in jewellery, cobalt-blue gemstones can still be found in some jewellery pieces. Additionally, it is commonly used in craft jewellery, as well as in the practice of feng shui, a Chinese philosophy that seeks to balance energies in the natural and supernatural world.
