DESCRIPTION: This is a beautiful antique 9ct yellow gold and emerald brooch. The brooch is set with ten oval cut green sparkling emerald gemstone. 

The brooch is circa 1860.

 

CONDITION: Good vintage condition, one of the 'tails' has broken off on one side, this can be seen in photo 3.

ITEM DETAILS: 

Pressed and assembled yellow gold emerald set brooch. The brooch measures 38.6mm x 21.8mm with hanging chains and flower drops. The textured surfaces of the brooch are claw set with ten approximately 3mm x 2mm step and oval cut light green emeralds. The brooch is unstamped but test 9ct and weighs 5.8gms.
