A striking and opulent statement of contemporary fine jewellery, this impressive 18ct white gold sapphire and diamond ring presents a dramatic composition of deep colour, architectural geometry and substantial presence. At its centre, a square-cut natural sapphire measuring approximately 5.10 x 5.00 x 2.92mm and weighing an estimated 0.70 carat commands attention with its very deep blue to black hue and very heavily included character, creating a mysterious, richly textured appearance within the setting. Encircling the sapphire are nine princess-cut diamonds channel set in three elegant rows, complemented on either side by additional diamond accents, with each outer section featuring a princess-cut and round brilliant-cut diamond pressure set into the flattened, gapped outer edge of the substantial quarter-round band. The ring is further distinguished by an impressive suite of treated colour black diamonds, comprising twenty stones measuring approximately 2.25 to 1.90mm with a combined estimated weight of 1.10 carats, together with two further 2.60mm treated colour black diamonds weighing approximately 0.14 carat in total, creating a captivating contrast against the cool lustre of the white gold.
