A captivating antique circa 1900 cameo brooch, combining deep black jet with the warmth of 15ct yellow gold.

At its centre is a beautifully hand carved jet cameo depicting the profile of a classical lady, measuring approximately 39 × 30mm. The oval cameo is rim set and surrounded by elegant twisted gold wire detailing, creating a striking contrast against the polished black jet.

Finished with a traditional steel pin and C-clip, this substantial 10.28g brooch is a wonderful survivor from the turn of the 20th century and an elegant addition to an antique jewellery collection.

Independently valued at $1,500 in 2021 for insurance/replacement purposes. The valuation is not the selling price – Buy It Now for much less.
